Music reflection

I enjoyed music last term because I had the opportunity to try learning how to play instruments the piano and guitar. I learnt that there are many different vocal skills people can use like tenor, falsetto, soprano etc. Unfortunately I did not get to perform as I had an appointment with the doctor, though I was excited to because the song I was singing was a really nice song. I do love music and love to listen and sing in my own time, but I don't think it is something I want to do in school and further on. No I wont be continuing this class, but I've had fun learning all about it and will keep music as a little hobby of mine.

What does music mean to me?

So far the only performance i've ever done is the moana production that happened recently during the holidays. Ive always had a thing with music, its just something I listen to or enjoy when I need to breathe. For me I can listen to any type of song that fits my mood, one day I could be listening to RnB, then switch onto some pop, or rap, reggae, maybe not hard metal. Im a fan of destinys child, their songs just hit the spot. Sons of Zion is another good group I tend to listen to from time to time, and L.A.B love their music aswell. In music I just want to build up my conifdence as a singer, and I also want to learn how to play some instruments mainly the guitar. Ive always loved music, but sharing it with others is something im not too sure about. I chose music just to see where I can go with it.

Music - genre

Chloe and I are going to be performing the song isn't she lovely - by Stevie Wonder,  For now we both are singing still deciding on which instruments to play along with us. This song is talking about how lovely that girl is or how admirable she is. We both have never performed in front of people singing, so it will be quite nerve wrecking, but this is good, as it is something out of our comfort zones. We are learning how we are planning on singing the song then we'll decide if we want to go ahead with the instruments or not (piano or guitar).
