Gender roles
In drama we are watching the film Grease and are working towards making the musical. Today we have watched the first bit of the movie and already have a good idea of how to act.
In this film it has showed so far that the girls are all about smoking, pretty hair, make-up, long dresses things that girls nowadays aren't all about. With the boys on the other hand for them its also the hair, tight clothes, leather jackets, and especially cars! Of course this is all just an act but that was really how things were back then, and to be honest i´m glad some of those things have changed.

This musical has a really good meaning behind it. This show is about the king who was married 6 times, while having used them, abused them or they just weren´t good enough. In this song it has each wife tell their story.
