Yesterday we watched a short film called ¨ The present ¨ in wananga class. This film is about a boy and dog who both have one leg. The boys first reaction to the dog was as if he was disgusted by the way the dog also only had one leg. No matter how bad the boys first impression was of the dog, the dog was still very playful. The boy slowly began to like how the dog was clumsy, cheerful and very similar to himself. The video teaches us that we need to be resilient and make connections towards others.I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
